About the role
A health-tech scale-up is building out its data function and hiring a Data Engineer to own the pipelines and platform that power analytics and machine learning across the business. Data is central to how this business makes decisions and ships product, so this is a role with real ownership and visibility from day one, and plenty of scope to shape how the platform is built.
What you’ll do
- Design and maintain robust, well-tested data pipelines
- Model data for analytics and ML use cases
- Own data quality, lineage and observability
- Partner with analysts and ML engineers to ship reliable datasets
What we’re looking for
- Strong Python and SQL
- Experience with a modern data stack (dbt, Airflow/Dagster, Snowflake/BigQuery)
- Solid software-engineering fundamentals (testing, version control, CI)
- Pragmatism about building the right thing for the stage
