We are founder-led and based in central London, and we partner with startups and scale-ups across the UK, Europe and the US. London is our home market and where we do the most hiring, but we run engineering, product, data and leadership searches across Berlin, Amsterdam and New York too, plus fully remote and hybrid teams. Each city has its own market dynamics, compensation norms and talent pools, so we tailor the approach rather than applying a single template.

Both. OpenSource is a founder-led tech recruitment agency based at Aldwych House in central London. London is the home market and where most placements happen; the same founders run searches into Berlin, Amsterdam and New York remotely, travelling for leadership searches and client onboarding.
Does the recruitment process differ by city?
The screen does not: every candidate, in every city, is technically assessed by a founder before you see them. What changes is the market advice, since pay, notice periods, hybrid norms and the depth of the talent pool differ between London, Berlin, Amsterdam and New York, and each city page sets that out.
